The Dixon Brothers

Jake and Ben both began washing brushes for our parents Guy and Sue at the age of 9. We have spent the past 30+ years learning and perfecting our craft. When we are not lovingly restoring beautiful old homes using the techniques and old fashioned craftsmanship handed down to us, we are artists and musicians. We create art and music with the same joy we bring to every project.

The Dixon Family Tradition

Our parents Guy and Sue worked together as Dixon’s Painting. As a woman working in a male dominated trade our mother was a brave and successful pioneer. They are now enjoying their retirement! Guy began his apprenticeship to our grandfather Don Dixon in the 1960s. Don was apprenticed to his father Arthur Dixon, who in turn apprenticed under his father Joe Dixon sometime in the mid 1800’s.
